The Administration Manager provides high quality and confidential support to the Crop Inputs Team in Avonlea, on a broad variety of administrative agricultural activities.Responsibilities include but are not limited to: · Leading general administration activities including oversight of any administrative staff, ensuring proper administration processes, actively maintaining timelines, providing staff training and supervision, providing exceptional internal and external customer service, ensuring a safe work environment, and maintaining all assets and operations of the administration office· Management and oversight of front-facing duties including customer interactions. Maintain a high level of professionalism and ensure that the organization is represented in the best possible light. Will assist customers with complex account inquiries· Assisting customers by completing product and service orders and arranging logistics as required. This will include but is not limited to deliveries in/out of the Avonlea location.· Processing of accounts receivable. This includes recording transactions, posting receipts, generating invoices and account statements, maintaining the AR files and records, and resolving any discrepancies.· Tracking inventory movement and monitoring inventory levels. Responsible for ensuring accuracy of and reviewing all transactions in the point of sale/accounting system.· Positioning and reconciliation of manufacturer grower programs on behalf of customers with the goal of maximizing the manufacturing rebate programs.· Work in collaboration with product procurement to ensure accurate wholesale reconciliation processes including invoicing, shipping/receiving, rebate and promotion, compensation, and will act as a liaison with wholesalers· Required to actively assist and participate in divisional marketing objectives· Ensure through management and oversight of day-to-day activities that accurate financial policies and procedures are adhered toWhy it matters: Our team provides a range of products and services to support our member-owners. Through the work that we do, we help to build, fuel, feed and grow Western Canadian communities together.Who you are: · Degree or diploma in Administration or Agriculture and 3+ years of administrative experience is required. Experience in agriculture and crop inputs retail is an asset/preferred.· Practical understanding of agricultural products, services, and practices is required.· Demonstrable experience with productivity tools, such as MS Office and MS Outlook and proficiency in MS Excel. Excellent data entry skills.· Familiar with a wide range of financial transactions including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable· Highly organized and able to create easy-to-follow systems for others· Very high attention to detail, accuracy of information & problem-solving skills· Independently motivated, with the ability to take on tasks and duties without immediate direction· Able to multi-task, prioritize, work under pressure, and meet deadlines· Strong oral/written communication skills; able to clearly communicate complex data· Great interpersonal and customer service skills· Ability to travel and work remotely when necessaryOur Team Members receive competitive salaries, a comprehensive benefits package and an employer-contributed pension plan.
