Chaleur Forest Products is currently recruiting for a full-time Maintenance Supervisor at its Bathurst location.Chaleur Forest Products is the result of the consolidation of two established forest products companies and operates three sites in New Brunswick. Our mills located in Bathurst and Belledune have completely automated lines, producing over 300 million board feet of lumber per year. Our lumber is marketed throughout North America and distributed by rail and truck to the Canadian and the US Eastern Seaboard. Chaleur Forest Products employs over 400 people across our sites.Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent at the Bathurst site, the Maintenance Supervisor/Planner will provide input into planning, scheduling and execution, ensuring smooth operation of the maintenance department. The successful candidate will generate, maintain, update work orders in the Interal CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and provide training on the CMMS systems. The Maintenance Supervisor/Planner will provide coverage as necessary to the Maintenance Team in the function of both roles. This role will also include working with our safety team, procurement on inventory management and cost saving initiatives, data collection, reporting and formulating weekly work packages and maintain KPIs (key point indicators) for the department.Quick Apply
