Together, we deliver energy solutions to more than 350,000 New Brunswickers at home, work and in their community.As part of the Mechanical Maintenance team, the Maintenance Tradesworker role is responsible for performing preventative and predictive maintenance on all mechanical systems and equipment at the Belledune Generating Station.Key Responsibilities include:

  • Perform or assist in the operational trouble-shooting of mechanical systems and equipment to determine the cause of problems and corrective action required.
  • Perform or assist in the installation, dismantling, repair, assembly, modification and testing of all types of mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Perform and update planned work as well as respond to emergent work independently, as part of a team, and across workgroups.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification
  • 5 years of experience working in an industrial environment
  • Valid class 5 Driver’s license
  • Basic computer navigation
  • Previous work experience with NB Power would be an asset.
An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered.
