Job Description

Accountabilities and Detailed Activity:Equipment Routine Maintenance

  • Build, design, assemble, and debug new equipment.
  • Maintain the mechanical and electrical components in a food processing component assembly line, build, machine, and debug new equipment for future business.
  • Electrical systems installation.
  • Pneumatic, Hydraulic and systems maintenance.
  • Operation of Tool Room Equipment (I.E. Lathes, Grinders, Weldingamp; Fabricating, Bridgeport Drill Press, torches Etc.).
Troubleshootingamp; Repair
  • Perform preventative maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems.
  • Control systems troubleshooting (PLC).
Paperworkamp; Documentation Management
  • Record and document all repairs / modifications on internal Work Order system.
Safety Protocolamp; Compliance
  • Operate in a safe manner, ensure equipment is in safe working order.
  • Ensure machines are safety compliant (i.e.: guards in working order).

Minimum Requirements:Education and/or Professional Designation:
  • At least 1 year Experience in Assembly, Manufacturing and Equipment Maintenance.
Experience:
  • Mechanical repair experience is a must.
  • Ability to Read and Interpret Blueprints and Electrical Schematics.
  • Demonstrated mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Control system experience is a plus.
  • Experience in a meat processing environment is an asset.
Language Skills:
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
  • Fluent in English.
Technical Skills:
  • Ability to lift at least 50 Pounds.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures.
Soft Skills:
  • Analytical decision making.
  • Safety conscious.
