Job DescriptionAECOM is looking for a Hydrogeologist to join its team in Calgary, AB. This is a Full-time role.Responsibilities include:

Work within a team of engineers, hydrogeologists, geologists, geochemists, groundwater modellers and agrologists on a wide variety of projects.
Working on hydrogeological projects across Canada including contaminated sites, remediation, hydrogeologic characterization for water supply assessment, water supply development, and hydrogeological characterization for mine development, operations and closure.
Design and execute hydrogeological investigations including ground disturbance planning, drilling, and logging of soil and rock core, sampling of soil, rock, groundwater and vapour, borehole instrumentation, monitoring well design and installation, and aquifer testing.
Lead contaminant hydrogeology assessments, including development of conceptual site models, determination of hydrostratigraphic properties and groundwater flow directions, and assessing contaminant fate and transport in the context of source-receptor pathway analysis.
Contribute to the development of problem formulation for site-specific risk assessments.
Act as report originator on hydrogeological and related technical reports. Candidate may also act as intermediate reviewer of reporting conducted by junior staff.
Providing ongoing mentorship to junior staff both in field and office.
