Position Summary: The Pre-Press Artist is responsible for preparing files for analogue (screen printing) and digital print production using Adobe Illustrator and InDesign. You will enhance files for printability and manufacturability, work with CAD technical drawings, understand tolerances, and rebuild files to ensure compatibility with our equipment, including a film-based imagesetter. Manual color separation skills are essential for preparing screen printing films. Key duties include making files print-ready, high-quality, and manufacturable, as well as reading technical drawings, proofing, simplifying complex files, maintaining accuracy, attention to detail, and efficient file management.
