Sound like youJOB SUMMARYAs a key member of the QA team, the Sr. QA Integration Test Engineer will be responsible for driving the system integration testing strategy for one Safe Fleet’s software product families.In this role, he/she will develop end-to-end testing strategies for complex workflows and system integrations.This is a hands-on technical role that involves participating directly in test planning, test execution and test automation development.In the area of test planning, you will work with the Software QA members and software developers, developing test strategies/plans, test scenarios and test cases. The development model we are following is referred to as the QA Assisted model where software developers also participate directly in testing as a shared accountability.In the area of test automation, you will help foster the adoption of automation tools and processes, help resolve platform-wide automation challenges, help develop self-service tools that enable scrum teams to participate directly in test automation and help directly with the implementation of some of the more complex test automation scenarios. You will

  • Be the Voice of Quality, ensuring QA processes are followed, adapting them as needed.
  • Drive the development of test plans, regression test Suites, and test strategies; lead their execution and continued evolution.
  • Define project testing acceptance criteria, providing qualified go / no go product release recommendations.
  • Develop Functional and System Integration Test Scenarios based on analysis of Business Requirements and user stories.
  • Provide support to production support teams to recreate and resolve production issues
  • Perform both manual and automated testing to ensure that all project deliverables meet product requirements.
  • Provide automation solutions that will help integration testing efforts and testing of end-to-end workflows.
  • Drive the standardization of automation across all products in the product family
  • Manageamp; prioritized the overall automation backlog
  • Make sure we are automating critical product areas that make sense and bring business value
  • Provide technical direction and support related to technology decisions, automation testing / scripting efforts and development initiatives
  • Provide technical guidance, direction, coaching, mentoring to team members and oversee the delivery of commitments across all team members

  • University Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or other related disciplines
  • 5+ years of experience as a Senior software test engineer in development
  • Experience with scaled agile preferred.
  • Experience developing automation frameworks (UI automation frameworks, Data driven frameworks, and behavior driven frameworks.
  • Familiarity with automation tools, processes and concepts as well as architecture and infrastructure concepts
  • Experience developing system integration test plans.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong experience coordinating testing of end-to-end systems involving integrations between multiple teams.
  • Experience using JIRA, Confluence and Zephyr is desirable.
  • Technical expertise with a wide range of software development methods and tools
  • Experience defining and implementing automation for new and existing software applications.
  • Action-oriented and self driven; have the ability to learn new technologiesamp; quickly put them in action.
  • Experience with Source Control Management Tools (Git/Github)
  • Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions desired.
  • Experience using XUnit Family
  • Knowledge and experience MariaDB, NoSQL Databases
  • Contract Testing with Pact (Desired)
  • UI Automation in frameworks like Cypress, Selenium, Test Cafe
  • Strong experience and knowledge in HTTP testing and REST architecture style
  • Strong Knowledge of at least programming language like C#, Java, NodeJS, Python
