Established in 1976 the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies (SIIT) is a First Nation governed post-secondary institution. You can contribute to that success while building your career.Nature and ScopeThe Strategic Writingamp; Support Specialist plays a key role in the EDCS department by focusing on providing support to the Saskatchewan Indian Training Assessment Group (SITAG) delivery network and the delivery of the Indigenous Skills and Employment Training (ISET) Program. This position will positively promote and create an environment that demonstrates SIIT #39;s vision, mission, and mandate.General AccountabilityThe Strategic Writingamp; Support Specialist will work closely with the Vice President on a broad range of strategic, communication, and analytic initiatives to help ensure the goals and objectives of the department and institute are achieved. This position will be responsible for documenting and articulating key business directions of the SITAG and the EDCS department by working in a collaborative environment with a variety of First Nation networks, government, and other stakeholders. The Specialist will develop, prepare, and present written and verbal reports on internal, environmental and strategic topics that are identified as priorities by the department. The Specialist will provide support in the development and maintenance of EDCS and SITAG related policies and procedures. This position will also be responsible for maintenance of the SITAG website including ensuring content is consistent with SITAG #39;s overall image and is aligned with the organization #39;s strategy.
