Job Description

Building Superintendent Côte Saint-Luc, Quebec JOB SCOPE:Responsible for the overall daily maintenance of 2 adjoining buildings and property, and supervision of 2 cleaning staffLives on-site in a condo unit provided by the condo association, as part of your package Works a 40-hour week, Mon-Fri, 7 to 4, and is available 24/7 to handle emergenciesMust:

  • Do preventative maintenance functions on building envelopeamp; mechanics.
  • Ensure that regular maintenance contractors are doing their jobs properly and on a timely basis e.g. gardeners, HVAC, elevators, snow removal, etc.
  • Do most handyman small repairs and maintenance functions, such as small plastering/paint jobs, changing lights, lubricating all motorized equipment, etc.
  • Be able to understand and communicate in English; conversational French an asset.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED include:
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience.
  • Ability to work independently, and be part of team.
  • Ability to develop work schedules and plans.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Management, Co-owners, Staff and Contractors.
Salary:
  • $50,000 to start, depending on qualifications.
