Job Description

Job ID #345215Business AnalystOn behalf of our client, Procom is seeking a Business Analyst for a 4 month contract position working remotely.Business Analyst Responsibilities

  • Develops feasibility studies, business cases, and other analytical deliverables
  • Defines and maintains process documentation, requirements, and design specifications
  • Performs quality assurance including the development of user acceptance test plans and scripts to verify alignment of functionality with specifications
  • Leads user acceptance testing and obtains business sign-off
  • Reports on common sources of issues or questions and provides recommendations to the project team
Business Analyst Mandatory Skills
  • Minimum 5 years experience in information technology
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in a Business Analyst role
  • Ability to elicit and document processes and requirements for software development and application implementations
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively perform quality assurance
  • Experience in the system development life cycle from initiation through delivery and support
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills
  • Ability to identify and develop standards is desirable
  • Experience in the Power Utility or Energy Trading Industry is desirable
  • Business Analyst certification is an asset
  • University degree or equivalent
