This ensures that our talented and prepared individuals are matched with job opportunities that result in long-term success for both them and our business partners.Job Title: Journeyman Millwright for Industrial ShutdownsWe are seeking an experienced Journeyman Millwright for industrial shutdowns. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, aligning, adjusting, and repairing various types of industrial machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance. They will also demonstrate competency in performing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with all safety standards and protocols.Core Competencies and Skills Required:

  1. Technical Expertise: Certified Journeyman Millwright with relevant industry experience. In-depth knowledge of machinery and equipment related to the millwright trade, along with all related safety practices.
  2. Maintenance Skills: Experience in performing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks. Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical issues and implementing effective solutions.
  3. Physical Stamina and Strength: Ability to handle heavy machinery and materials, along with standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
  4. Precision and Accuracy: Proficiency in ensuring precise alignment and adjustments of machinery for optimal performance.
  5. Safety Compliance: Strict adherence to all safety regulations and guidelines. Experience wearing and using safety gear.
  6. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and management.
  7. Education: A minimum of a Grade 12 education or equivalency is required.
Responsibilities:
  • Assemble, install, align, adjust, and repair industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to efficiently execute tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Conditions:
  • The job may require working in a variety of weather conditions, at heights, and on occasion, in confined spaces.
  • The role involves physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy items and operating machinery.
  • Safety gear is required at all times during work hours.
  • LOA bonus will be provided - based in Sault Ste. Marie
