The ideal candidate possesses a passion for the fashion industry while driving business with an entrepreneurial mindset and you will be responsible for: POSITION SUMMARY   As the District Manager, you are responsible for all areas related to Sales Generation, Product to the Floor, Product being Merchandised and Staff Development.  Driving sales and maximizing efficiencies are key to this role. Additionally, responsibilities include driving Key Performance Indicators in the district.     RESPONSIBILITIES  SALES GENERATION 

  • Meet sales requirements based on district corporate goals. 
  • Drive Bricks and Mortar sales. 
  • Drive OMNI sales through pick up in store and curbside customer offering.  
  • Drive Sales through social media platforms 
  • Provide exemplary client experience through store experience.  
  • Drive our sales culture through application of OAK+FORT Sales Culture. 
  • Drive store Key Performance Indicators (KPI).  
  • Build and manage client relationships through client database recording. 
  • Be a brand ambassador and lead others to follow. 
  • Provide industry knowledge through awareness of competitors. 
  • Maximize sales during special events and customer services. 
  • Coach management teams how to respond and appropriately resolve customer complaints and service opportunities. 
STORE OPERATIONS 
  • Develop Store Manager’s stock management skills to ensure the right quantity of stock is in the right place at the right time. 
  • Drive world class operations through high standard of store routines, back of house maintenance and restock of the store.  
  • Communicate inventory and stock needs for stores to Product Department. 
  • Ensure shipping and receiving of product is accurate and efficient. 
  • Partner with Visual Merchandising Department to ensure stores maintain proper presentation of merchandise in accordance to corporate directives. 
  • Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of physical stores to create safe and comfortable shopping experiences. 
  • Adhere to loss prevention policies to prevent external and internal theft. 
  • Educate store teams and support development of loss prevention policies. 
  • Ensure Store Manager’s create weekly schedules to maximize sales, eliminate wastage, and ensure the right quality and calibre of staff are working. 
  • Provide insight of expansion plans in existing and new markets. 
  • Contribute ideas to developing new processes and frameworks to improve store operations.  
  • Ensure Store Manager’s are upholding operational excellence.  
STAFF DEVELOPMENT 
  • Source top candidates to build high performing management teams. 
  • Build our team by through first-class onboarding standards. 
  • Train and develop high performing Store Managers to maximize productivity. 
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and validation of Store Manager’s performance through formal and informal evaluations. 
  • Inspire and motivate teams through demonstrating leadership qualities. 
  • Initiate and communicate team objectives and updates with Store Managers and corporate partners. 
  • Partner with senior Retail Department to evaluate and dismiss underperforming management. 
  • Provide coaching to Store Managers on how to evaluate and dismiss underperforming staff. 
  • Support internal growth by partnering with senior Retail Department to promote high performing Management and Leadership teams. 
  • Demonstrate ability to secure and retain top performing staff within the district. 
  • Recognize top performing staff by partnering with senior Retail Department to provide compensation to fairly reward talent. 
  • Empower Store Manager’s business skills to further develop business acumen. 
  • Host staff meetings as necessary and participate in monthly District Manager’s meetings Support with new store openings and closures with primary focus on training and staffing. 
TRAVELamp; OTHERS  
  • Travel locally and nationality based on business needs, with vary duration and frequency.  
  • Complete other projects as assigned  
REQUIREMENTS
  • Previous management experience in fashion retail industry
  • Multi-location management experience
  • Well-rounded in all areas of the business - Sales Generation, Operations, Visual Merchandising, Staff Development, OMNI-channel
  • Flexibility to meet business needs
Salary Range: $95,000 CAD Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on provincial or federal requirements.Powered by JazzHR
