By providing the majority of mechanical requirements in-house, including engineering, 3D-design, plumbing, sheet metal, HVAC, refrigeration, and controls, we are a “ONE-STOP” shop for any project.We are looking for permanent full-time Sheet Metal Apprentices and Journeymen for high-rise residential projects in Vancouver, Richmond, Surrey, Langley, and New Westminster with more to come.What we offer:· $22-$48.15 per hour depending on levelamp; experience· Employer Paid Benefits Package (Ext Health, Dental, Vision, AD amp;D, LTD, Life, EAP, Critical Illness)· $500 Annually in Health Care Spending Account / Healthy Living Account· Employer RRSP Matching· Paid Parking· Paid Vacationamp; Holidays· Great Company Culture· Company Events (BC Lions Games, Christmas Party/Lunch, Pizza Days, etc.)· Competitive Wages and Career Growth Opportunities into Leadership RolesJob Responsibilities:· Reading blueprints· Installing ductwork for different systems (HRVS, ERVS, VRF, 4-pipe fan coils, 2-pipe fan coils, vertical heat pumps)· Installing all seismic for all equipment· Hanging and installing all equipment· Confer with project team, contractors and suppliers to resolve any construction problemsQualifications and Experience:· Red Seal Certification in Sheet Metal considered an asset but not required· Previous sheet metal experience and/or transferable construction trade skills considered an asset· Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, inspection reports, etc.· Ability to work with subcontractors and vendors· Ability to meet sensitive timelines· Ability to work within a team environment· Ability to adapt to the changes of the day-to-day workloadsSkills and Abilities· Self-motivated, with initiative to take on a wide variety of tasks· Confident decision making and high ethical standards· Good verbal and written communication skills· Good interpersonal skills and a high level of professionalism· Problem solving skills and the ability to think and react quickly under pressure· Reliable, dependable and professional· Career-minded individual seeking opportunity for future growthOcean Park Mechanical is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and encourages applicants of all backgrounds.
