Job DescriptionAs a shipping clerk you will be responsible for all outgoing materials and may be required to deliver goods to customer.Summary of duties:Documenting all shipping transactions to maintain traceability.Data entry into various applications Excel, Microsoft word, ERP system.Daily on-line tracking of all Shipping activities performed with various freight companies (waybills).Trouble shooting when there is a problem with shipments, assessment of what should be done and decision to be made to ensure materials are released from customs and are received on time.Manipulation of materials with the fork-lift and the company Truck, deliver all necessary material to internal departments.Load and Off load merchandise.Communicate any discrepancies and or concerns to your respective SupervisorPreparation of Cabinets for Shipping.Verify that all necessary documentation is attained from each department involved and is included with each shipment prior to shipping (packing slips etc…)Job RequirementsMust be organized and efficient with good follow up and follow through.Able to work in a team environment with strong communication skillsAble to work under stressDriver license, class 5 and fork lift license requiredEducation: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.Experience: 3 to 5 years.Computer Skills: ERP applications, Microsoft Excel- Word, Navigate internet tracking sites for shipmentsOther Skills:
