Sounds Exciting Join usLooking for a hands-on technical person who finds passion in working with different types of control instruments as well as gas analyzers all in an industrial environment. As an instrumentation technician you will have the opportunity to perform services all while helping companies optimize their process by minimizing downtime. If you are ready to develop your knowledge in order to broaden the range of our services in the industrial environment than this job is for you!WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
  • Perform service calls for instrument calibration work.
  • Perform troubleshooting, preventive and/or corrective maintenance on equipment.
  • Find solutions to customer problems.
  • Provide training specific to customer needs.
  • Support the team of technicians on diagnostics, on the efficient use of work tools.
  • Promote good maintenance practices.
  • Assist companies to improve their maintenance methods through the use of complementary technology and appropriate work procedures.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL
  • College education in Industrial Electronics - Instrumentation and Control Specialization.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in an industrial or road service environment.
  • Good knowledge and experience with gas detectors and analyzers
  • Good knowledge of CEMS (Continuous Emission monitoring Systems)
  • Knowledge of CO, CO2, SO2, NO/NoX, O2 Gases
  • Electrical competency card (License C): an asset
  • Strong interest in industrial maintenance and predictive technologies.
  • Bilingual spoken and written (French and English)
  • Ability to work under pressure and with sometimes conflicting priorities
  • Be proactive to customer challenges and respond to all needs.
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm and tenacity to find solutions and achieve expected results.
  • Takes initiative to improve the quality of work and add value to interventions.
  • Recognizes the strength of working effectively in a team.
  • Respects the requirements (deadlines and reliability of data) in the writing of various reports.
