Job DescriptionThe Truck Driver will be responsible for products transportation from one location to another while respecting the schedule.He/She will perform daily tasks assigned; assess priorities on a daily basis upon arrival in observing the activity of the night before.Summary of duties:Specifically, the Truck Driver will be called upon to:Play an integral part of the logistics team.Participates actively in the preparation of shipments (50/50 on road / warehouse)Responsible of the picking up & delivery of material at customers and suppliers.Perform daily safety and maintenance checks.Follow all HAZMAT/SIMDUT policies when manipulating goods and materials.Ensure all health and safety regulations are being adhered to in relations to daily tasks.Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner.Clean truck as scheduled and/or required.Advise Supervisor of any requirements for maintenance or repairs.Job RequirementsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent is preferredValid drivers license class 3Experience: Minimum 5 yearsComputer skills: Basic knowledge of MS officeOther skills:Strong comprehension of shipping, procedure, problem solving, and troubleshooting is a definite asset.Good knowledge of the geographical sectorFocused on customer service & excellent interpersonal skills.Autonomy and ability to work in a production context with minimal supervisionCertificate in Transportation of Dangerous Goods (Asset)Experience / valid license - forklift (asset)Languages: Ability to communicate in French and EnglishAdditional:Change of shift may occurAvailability to perform overtime hours when required.Supply chain Kirkland , Quebec , Canada Permanent Full-time High School diploma, A Level First experienceQuick Apply
