Job Description

The OpportunityThe Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with various duties in the warehouse including merchandise inventory, shipping and receiving. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that orders are picked, packed, and shipped appropriately. He/she must work a multitude of open inventory reports and adjust the inventory in the system as necessary. The incumbent must also attend team meetings in order to streamline efforts to improve Key Performance Indicators for the warehouse team.The Role

  • Customer Service
  • Assist customers both internal and external with shipping queries, ensuring that they are provided with appropriate direction and information at all times.
  • Respond to customer requests and inquiries.
  • The primary point of contact for the DC, liaise with operations, inventory, planning and service
  • Prioritize daily DC operations, assign tasks
  • Manage national procurement of supplies, packaging etc as required
  • Key point of contact to support regional branch network, and DC’s as necessary.
  • Report generation and KPI tracking to support DC manager
  • Assist in various warehouse and administrations duties as required.
  • Support annual physical inventory
  • Schedule and Conduct inventory counts on a weekly basis and maintain bin allocation updated.
  • Provide resolution to issues and errors connected to sales and shipping in a timely and accurate manner on a daily basis.
  • Provide leadership and guidance for warehouse team members
  • Perform additional duties as required
