Employment OpportunityDate: August 26, 2022Bulletin No. 22-23 034Position: Gr. 5/6 French ImmersionTeacherAssignment: 1.0 permanentSchool: École Ste. Anne ImmersionClosing date: open until successful candidate fills positionStart Date: ImmediatelyThe following skills and experience are required:

  • Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate
  • Fluency in both official languages (French & English) written and oral is a requirement
  • Must have excellent organizational and classroom management skills
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with students and parents
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of the Grade 5 & 6 curriculum
  • Familiarity with the Manitoba document titled ‘Independent Together’
  • Previous experience working in an environment with EAL students and students with Special Needs
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of personal computers and related software applications
