Job Description

Manning Park Resort is a year round resort located between Hope and Princeton, BC. If you are ready to leave the hustle and bustle of city life, and enjoy outdoor fun and adventure, this is a great place to work. Staff housing is available, so your dream of living in the mountains is part of your adventure at Manning Park Resort.We are presently searching for our next great team member as a Kitchen Helper to join our Food & Beverage team. If you can provide our guests with an amazing experience, combined with working as an energetic part of our resort, we want to hear from you.Responsibilities include: (but not limited to)

  • Properly washing and drying all dishes, utensils, cooking instruments and cutting boards
  • Removing garbage, replacing garbage bags, and washing garbage cans
  • Preparing meal ingredients for the cooks, which includes washing, peeling, cutting, and slicing ingredients
  • Assisting kitchen staff to unload food supplies from delivery trucks
  • Mopping and sweeping the kitchen areas as required
  • Storing ingredients and food items according to food safety standards
  • Maintaining a high level of personal hygiene in the work environment
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Previous kitchen experience
  • FOODSAFE certification
  • Ability to work in a fast paced team environment!
  • Must be self-motivated and a high energy individual
  • Must be able to multi-task & have strong organizational skills
  • A willingness to learn
  • Motivation to develop your career
This is a year round position with an expected commitment of a full season - Summer Season (June-September) / Winter Season (November-April)Benefits:
