Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Analyst with 4-5 years of experience, ideally within the commodities sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agile delivery methodologies and hold relevant certifications. This role will involve working closely with stakeholders to analyze business needs, develop requirements, and ensure the successful delivery of solutions that enhance business operations.Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
  • Work with stakeholders to identify business needs and gather detailed requirements.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and workflows.
  • Develop and document clear and concise business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
Agile Delivery:
  • Participate actively in agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of product increments.
  • Assist in the prioritization and management of the product backlog.
Stakeholder Management:
  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among various stakeholders to achieve alignment on project goals.
  • Conduct regular meetings and presentations to update stakeholders on project progress and gather feedback.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to support decision-making processes.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all analysis and reporting activities.
Process Improvement:
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement best practices and standards for business analysis activities.
  • Participate in post-implementation reviews to assess the success of delivered solutions and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
  • 4-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the commodities sector.
  • Proven experience with agile delivery methodologies.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
Certifications:
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Agile certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) are advantageous.
