Touchwood Agency Tribal Council (TATC) requires an energetic, motivated and career-minded Technical Services Program Manager to work under the general supervision of the Senior Office Manager to provide support to the member First Nations of the Touchwood Agency Tribal Council with the planning, design,construction, implementation and operating and maintenance of capital projects, specifically buildings, water supply systems, sewage systems, roads, bridges including familiarity with new housing and renovations programs.Responsibilities:-Assist First Nations in planning and developing project descriptions-Assist First Nations in technical housing project submissions, new housing site selections-Perform technical evaluation of all housing proposals submitted by First Nations-Assisting in development, organization and training of First Nation Technical units-Arrange for timely inspections of capital projects-Ensure inspection reports are submitted to INAC & CMHC for progress payments so cash flow to First Nationsis in a timely manner-Prepare and manage annual budgets for Technical Services Department for submission to TATC Chiefs forapproval for each fiscal year-Assist First Nation Project Managers to complete “Renovation Estimate and Inspection Report” forms for costand feasibility.Qualifications:-Certificate in Business Administration and/or-Completion of Grade 12 and minimum 3 years comparable experience in housing and administration.-Knowledge of Government funding, reporting and programs-Working knowledge of project management-Knowledge and experience in First Nation Band operations and procedures-Strong communication skills: ability to initiate and manage difficult conversations, good telephone manner,and strong one on one relation skills.-Ability to develop and deliver oral and written reports and updates clearly and concisely.-Must be highly organized, able to work independently and complete task in the necessary time frames-Strong computer skills and internet use. High proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and abilityfor enhancement to CMHC and INAC programming.-Must possess a valid Saskatchewan driver license and provide a criminal background check (CPIC)Job Type: Full-timeSalary: From $51,000.00 per yearSchedule:
