Are you ready to make a concrete contribution to Canada’s adaptation to climate change We are looking for an enthusiastic professional to join our diverse and fast-growing team.As a climate change specialist, you will support public and private sector clients in achieving their sustainable development objectives related to decarbonization and climate change resilience of infrastructure across Canada. You will actively participate in the analysis and integration of innovative, sustainable and resilient engineering solutions for large-scale projects across Canada.This is a hybrid position based in one of our Quebec or Ottawa offices.Primary Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor climate change projects with customers and other stakeholders.
  • Carry out climate change risk and vulnerability analyses for buildings and various infrastructures (roads, ports, etc.).
  • Carry out analyses in line with Climate Lens Assessment.
  • Produce climate change adaptation plans for various types of projects according to recognized standards and guidelines.
  • Participate in nature-based solutions (NBS) deployment projects.
  • Evaluate and prioritize different carbon reduction measures and mitigation and carbon neutrality strategies.
  • Write and present reports and climate action plans to customers.
  • Keep abreast of the various guidelines, new standards and regulations relating to greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and climate resilience in order to communicate them to customers.
