Working in a creative, fast-paced environment, you #39;ll help GMS with both building the latest Cloud technology services and supporting to maintain a legacy system. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate alongside Data Engineers, Application Developers, Networkamp; System Administrators, and other key stakeholders.Position Responsibilities •Assist with building GMS cloud infrastructure and services.•Support resolving problems for end users and cloud related systems.•Maintain end user configurations for internal staff.•Perform user management tasks such as password resets / account unlocks.•Follow established procedures for equipment provisioning and user account management.•Assist with protecting cloud-based applications from data breaches or cybersecurity threats.•Assist with creating data flows and SQL scripts.•Assist with documenting data standards, rules, and quality checks that need to be applied to ETL processes.•Ad hoc routine technical operational tasks for office maintenance needs.Competencies•Problem Solving: Ability to notice minor details where others may miss for the purpose of analysis; quickly considers solutions and alternatives to determine a course of action. •Customer Focus: Understands customers key needs, motivations, and nonverbal expectations of customers, and provide solutions that address each customer #39;s unique situation. •Quality Orientation: Completes tasks with a high level of accuracy; routinely checks inputs, outputs, tasks, and processes to ensure they are error free. •Planningamp; Organizing: Highly effective prioritization and time management skills, ability to prioritize the work assigned to achieve desired outcomes.Educationamp; Experience•Working towards a post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field.•Strong interpersonal skills.•Strong verbal and written communication skills.•Ability to work independently or as part of a team.•Some knowledge of SQL scripting, Databases and Server Management.•Some experience maintaining cloud services such as Azure Microsoft.•Windows configuration, desktop networking and SharePoint experience is not required but would be considered an asset.•Some understanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP, FTP, SMTP, TLS, IMAP, HTTP, SSL, NTP, Telnet would be an asset.Are we a fitIf you think so, please apply by June 21, 2024.
