Job Description

Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority is seeking a Manager, SK Craft Program to join the Liquor Wholesale and Distribution Division. The temporary full-time opportunity is from July 2024 to December 31, 2025. Reporting to the Director, Product Managementamp; Supplier Relations, the Manager will oversee the Production Levy program, generating approximately $3.5 million in annual revenue. This role includes providing support to SK alcohol producers to ensure they understand and comply with regulatory requirements and developing and implementing initiatives to enhance sales support.Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Management: Lead the production levy program to achieve revenue targets.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Assist SK alcohol producers in understanding and adhering to regulatory requirements and hold them accountable as required.
  • Sales Support: Develop and execute initiatives to support and boost sales.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other managers within the branch and across other divisions, including the Regulatory Services Division and Finance Services Branch.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external customers.
Required Technical Skills/Qualifications:
  • A degree in public policy, business administration, or other relevant education.
  • Three to five years of relevant work experience.
  • Proven ability to navigate regulatory issues, understanding their impact on business operations.
  • Thrives in changing environments.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to influence others.
  • Ability to work efficiently with strict deadlines and frequent interruptions, while balancing a large volume and variety of tasks and projects.
