The company’s success is a result of our amazing work culture, our innovative and highly sought-after products, and the superb customer service we deliver.We currently have an opening for a Aviation Account Manager based in Canada.ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITYReporting to the Director of Sales, Americas, you will be the primary point of contact responsible for developing, nurturing, and maintaining relationships at various levels in the aviation industry within an organization amongst a wide-range of clientele serving the public and private sector, responsible for hunting and expanding new business in a defined geographic area.The focus of this position is to meet or exceed sales targets through a variety of methods including phone activity, web-based demonstrations, office presentations, as well as attending trade shows and regional conferences. This is an activity-based position, with a focus on identifying client’s and prospects needs, developing strong relationships and executing strategic sales of Transoft products and services..Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strategic sales plan for your geographic territory incorporating strategies and techniques to increase sales of Transoft products and services.
  • Promote Transoft products and services to current customers and prospects in specific target industries.
  • Establish contact and develop relationships with accounts within the geographic area assigned to you.
  • Achieve the assigned revenue targets for your individual territory.
  • Identify and create account profiles within the CRM database of all prospects and clients you are prospecting into.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of how Transoft’s products and services provide value to users.
  • Perform daily outbound calls for the purposes of setting up web-based demonstrations and generating new leads for future sales opportunities.
  • Attend regional and national trade shows, conferences and meetings that provide face-to-face opportunities to promote Transoft’s products.
  • Provide sales support to prospective and existing customers.
  • Conduct web-based and live presentations to clients and prospects within your territory.
  • Travel to and within your assigned territory. When traveling out of province/state, create and submit a travel plan to the Director of Sales. Expect 15%-20% travel.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting on a monthly basis for all sales opportunities within your territory.
  • Work in a team environment supporting other sales leads from other geographic territories to the appropriate Regional Account Manager.
  • Attend weekly sales meeting – Be prepared to report on weekly activity and results.
  • Keep existing clients within your territory updated with the latest information on Transoft’s products and services.
  • Follow-up on all incoming leads within your territory.

ABOUT YOUYou bring the proverbial ‘rain’. You have proven experience selling at all levels from a user level to executive level in customer organizations. You are accustom to selling mid-range B2B software, preferably within niche markets. You absolutely love to win and can’t stand the thought of losing to competition. Possessing an entrepreneurial spirit and drive, you are vibrant and can motivate everyone around you. You ask a lot of questions and are never, ever satisfied with ‘good enough.’Experience and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a focus on Business or equivalent and relevant industry experience
  • Verifiable 5+ year’s sales experience with volume-based, B2B transactional sales is required. Preference will be granted to those with experience serving the Architectural, Engineering & Consulting (AEC) market or CAD verticals.
  • Experience selling software and/or IT solutions is desired.
  • Proven and verifiable track record of achievement in a relevant role, i.e. account management, sales, or client facing/revenue position.
  • Aviation industry experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
  • CRM system experience a must. Preference given to those with MS Dynamics CRM.
  • Great presentations skills, verbal and written. Must be fluent in English, additional languages an asset.
  • Highly valued hard-skills include: expert prospecting, exceptional communication abilities, boardroom presentation skills and experience at negotiating and closing complex sales.
  • High level of technical aptitude required to convey product benefits to a very technical audience.
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a continually changing and competitive environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products a must (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity of CAD software desirable.
  • Proven and verifiable track record of initiative to meet challenging performance goals and proven sales.
  • Superior time management skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable interacting with senior level executives.
  • Ability to prioritize work and time management for effective sales and results
  • Highly organized and must possess excellent verbal/ written communications skills, time management and presentation skills
