Job Description

As a Salesforce Functional Analyst, you will play a vital role in the successful implementation and optimization of Salesforce solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and end-users to gather business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure the Salesforce platform meets our business needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, functional analysis and technical analysis.

  • Participate to projects as the Salesforce expert.
  • Defined innovative solutions to improve usage of Salesforce and support business requirements.
  • Translate Business Requirements into clear System Specifications for the developers
  • Design test strategy and test plans based upon requirements and participate in their execution
  • Analyze complex business problems to be solved with Salesforce system (Salesforce). Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and configure system or procedures that are cost effective and meet the requirements.
  • Configure systems settings and options, plan and execute unit, integration and acceptance testing, and create specifications for systems to meet business requirements.
  • May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business system issues.
  • Able to identify key business requirements with minimal information by quickly identifying key players and asking the right questions.
  • Acts as an advisor to 3rd party integrators.
  • Understands all aspects of Salesforce configuration and technical/functional capabilities, including all changes and potential system implications related to the Salesforce release upgrades (currently scheduled 2-3 times a year).
  • Communicates regularly with the Salesforce designated super users to support them in their role and provide information and training on new features and functionality. (Support may include assistance with data imports/exports, assistance with data integrity projects or other requests.)
  • Communicates regularly with the Salesforce Business owner, IT solution team, and other stakeholders to ensure functionality meets field needs and to develop ongoing project plan.
  • Maintains at least high-level familiarity with other IT system/business application capabilities in order to make recommendations about potential upstream/downstream integration or functionality intersection points. Salesforce System expert would champion Salesforce within the technology systems group, educating other team members on the capabilities and potential applications of Salesforce.
  • Serves as key liaison with IT technical resources.
  • Maintain and communicate system metrics to track trends in usage and data integrity.
