Job Description

The available position is at our office in British Columbia. 101-10439 173 Street Surrey, BC, V4N 5H3, CANADAPurpose of the MHE Account Manager

  • Secure, nourish and grow the business relationship between Machinex and Ocado. Machinex aims to secure its role as the exclusive MHE partner for Ocado (around the globe).
  • Be the person accountable for the technical successful deliveryamp; financial profitability of all Ocado’s projects while assuring a uniformamp; high-quality customer experience.
  • Be the trusted point of reference and advisor for all Machinex employees involved on Ocado projects, irrespective of their role or related department, while acting as the main point of contact for Ocado (in collaboration with the project managers) on all important discussions/meetings.
  • Proposeamp; implement potential improvements with all departments involved based on lessons learned and expertise acquired during all different Ocado’s projects.
  • Grow the market shares of Machinex in the sector of e-commerce, foodamp; beverage fulfillment centers and other related sectors, especially focusing on the provision of waste conveyors, balers and recycling module for this industry.
  • Be on the lookout for novelties and new technologies to be included in our “Ocado/warehouses Solution” for fulfillment centers.
  • Promote the Machinex baler, especially developed for the warehouse industry, starting with the North West American market.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES of the MHE Account ManagerSALES OF OCADO’S PROJECTS AND MHE PROJECTS
  • Developamp; nourish business relationships within Ocado itself or with Ocado’s privileged partnersamp; customers.
  • Demonstrate great level of leadership, proactivity and presence in front of Ocado so that they feel confident and value Machinex expertise.
  • Work closely with Sales Engineers for the elaboration of the proposalsamp; ultimately the sale of MHE projects.
  • Supportamp; eventually lead contractual negotiations with the VP Salesamp; Strategic Positioning.
  • Assure a flawless transfer of the technical, commercialamp; contractual information to the project management team.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT SUPPORT OF OCADO’S PROJECT
  • Work closely and assist the Project Managers appointed on the Ocado projects and all important Machinex stakeholders from Sales Order until the project is fully completed.
  • Supervise and ultimately be liable for a flawless transfer of all relevant technical, commercialamp; contractual information to the different stakeholders of the projects.
  • Be the main contact person for all Ocado’s related questions or problems to be solved, whether it is from the client or internally from the Machinex team.
  • Assure a certain presence on site (during installation, commissioningamp; start-up) to support the Machinex team especially with the customer management.
  • Track, compileamp; share the acquired knowledge from completed projects with all departments involved and collaborate in the design of the layouts and/or of the machinery and guarantee implementation of those recommendations for a leaner process across all departments (engineering, manufacturing, installation, start-up, etc.)
  • Evaluate final project costings and update sales price or rectify internal processes to assure or secure ongoing and/or future projects profitability.
