Job DescriptionMissionOur bridge and engineering structures team is looking for a technician to work on various large-scale projects in the Eastern Townships, more specifically in the Granby and/or Lac-Mégantic areas. You’ll have the opportunity to meet stimulating technical challenges, take part in training courses and benefit from the support of our team, recognized across Canada for their achievements in bridge structures.We offer a flexible hybrid work mode that allows you to work both from home and from one of our Quebec officesGiven that this is a candidate pool, please be advised that the process may vary and is open-ended. Our Talent Acquisition team will review each application and contact you at the appropriate time, if applicable.Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on a number of projects related to the construction of bridges and engineering structures, including design (technical drawings), supervision of field work, bridge inspections, field surveys, etc.
  • Update technical documents as the project evolves
  • Work full-time in the field, assisting the project team in the execution of general contractor work.
  • Inspect bridges and other structures (bridges, culverts, walls, etc.)
  • Carry out field surveys as part of a team to obtain information relevant to the completion and follow-up of mandates
  • Assist survey teams when necessary
  • Participate in the preparation of studies and technical reports
