Position ScopeThe Communications and Content Coordinator supports the Communicationsamp; Marketing team to build awareness and drive demand for Carbon Engineering’s DAC technology by producing the content and visuals to execute our external communications strategies.With support from CE’s Manager of Communications and Public Affairs, you’ll be responsible for drafting and creating content across all of CE’s marketing channels, from videos to blogs and everything in between. As a fast-moving team, we will look to you to produce content in-house while coordinating the work of external agencies and vendors on more complex projects.We’re looking for someone with the creative skills to produce top quality content who also has a knack for understanding technical topics and translating them for different audiences. If you’re passionate about climate solutions and technology, this is an opportunity to learn from leaders in the field while creating engaging and effective content with purpose.This role involves producing both written and visual content, so please include a cover letter and portfolio in your application to give us a taste of what you can do.The successful candidate will be based in Squamish, B.C. Responsibilities

  • Plan and develop content for use in marketing and communications (videos, photography, images, copywriting)
  • Coordinate the production of content through external vendors and agencies
  • Support the development and execution of CE’s social media strategy, engagement, and growth initiatives
  • Plan, create and manage social media assets and scheduling
  • Support the development and maintenance of company website content, ensuringaccuracy of site content and quality control
  • Assist the team in preparing for events and capture content (photos and video) at events
  • Actively seek and recommend opportunities to add new channels and events
  • Track campaign and channel performance and report on key metrics
Qualifications and ExperienceEducation:
  • Bachelors degree in marketing/communications/business administration. Candidates with a graphic design education and proven practical experience in marketing will also be considered.
Experience:
  • At least 2 years of work experience, preferably in a B2B or technology-led organization
  • Hands-on experience coordinating the work of vendors such as graphic designers and video producers
  • Portfolio of creative visual work
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics, Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of WordPress and HubSpot an asset
Offers and BenefitsCarbon Engineering offers a competitive compensation package including extended health benefits. Base Salary for an Intermediate level role is $51,225 to $67,000 with additional bonus pay.
