Job Description

Your role at Samsonite:Manage Amazon account back end to achieve sales and profit target.Implement account specific business plans, serve as the primary account contact, responsible for increasing sales and distribution, forecast and track account progress, oversee orders throughout the process working with logistics, credit and customer service, work jointly with all facets of the organization to achieve account business plan objectives.Liaison with sales and product marketing to launch product, forecast and track account progress and oversee orders throughout the lifecycle.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Conduct business planning to develop account specific plans in order to deliver and increase sales
  • Work with existing and prospective buyers: on phone, face-to-face, at trade-shows and or customer calls
  • Provide product details and image uploading for new product launches
  • Maintain, analyze and report: on inventory status, sales projections, and sell-through to regular and ad hoc forecasts for account sales and products lines
  • Develop and maintain channel data: analyze for trends and changes; account ranking; cross channel competitive threats and opportunities
  • Liaison to planning and operations to minimize out of stocks occurrences by providing monthly rolling product forecasts
  • Develop relationship as primary account contact to strengthen loyalty and expand business
  • Provide customer service to ensure that customer needs are identified and addressed
  • Oversee and monitor orders to ensure that they are accurate and delivered on time
  • Address credit issues with internal resources and customer contacts as needed
  • Review and dispute any compliance charges, providing necessary POD
  • Monitor any Samsonite US product sold on Amazon.ca to be removed
  • Work with logistics and customers to troubleshoot problems, developing and delivering actionable solutions
  • Provide regular forecasts for account sales and products lines as applicable
  • Ensure merchandising is customized to the customer needs as applicable
  • Special promotions - ensure customers take advantage of transitions / close out process
  • Responsible for all product copy, images, documentation and regular item maintenance on product detail pages
  • Submit and oversee any applicable price changes
  • Monitor any EMSP (Ecommerce Minimum Selling Price) violations on Prowl and send notification to appropriate customers/sales managers to address
  • Upload updated EMSP pricing and product changes in Prowl
  • Review list of any price discrepancies with incoming orders and address with Amazon
  • Delete any applicable drop ship purchase orders which are rejected due to price discrepancies or availability
  • Attend biweekly online meetings with Amazon Marketing Team and Third Party Marketplace Analystamp; Strategist
