As the Digital & Technology team, we are building our tomorrow, today.Come play a key role in building the future of innovation in Canada, Let’s make your possible.Do you enjoy working on high-scale, complex, and high visibility projects and programs If yes, consider the following opportunity:The Manager Innovation Ecosystem will sit within the Innovation and Partnerships function within the Technology Strategy team, and will support the link to the broader technology team as well as the Consumer, RSM and Rogers 4 Business teams. The role’s purpose is to drive 5G advanced technology trials that support the long-term Technology team initiatives connecting them to external innovation. The specific responsibilities of this position and this group will include the following:What you will be doing...

• Be a key lead in the 5G Program by identifying new and emerging opportunities and surfacing key focus areas tied to C-level priorities
• Identify, develop and plan, at a detailed level, executive engagements with strategic partners to identify new opportunities (including Mobile World Congress, annual Executive West Coast Trip)
• Manage Backlog of relevant partner opportunities against strategic objectives, priorities, KPIs,
• Lead and Run external collaboration opportunities with the broader developer community including Developer Programs, Hackathons, Challenges.
• Communicate and program manage opportunities including regular updates to Leadership
• Manage theme based relationships with strategic partners, key suppliers, global tech leaders and operators.
• Support Process for innovative companies and start-ups from around world to engage with Rogers on key strategic areas related to 5G
• Establish appropriate owners for high potential concepts
• Participate in the delivery stages of innovation (design solution, build and scale)

What you have...

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or business and Master’s strongly preferred.
• 5-10 years’ experience in technology focused roles
• Advanced user in Powerpoint and Excel
• Ideal candidate will have some experience in HTML, Java, Python
• Strong ability to take abstract concepts and articulate them
• You have great relationship management, leadership, and influencing skills to ensure continuous business support from key stakeholders
• Able to manage multiple priorities at a given time.
• Creative; not afraid to explore white space ideas and new strategic concepts
• Knowledge of key domains: 5G, Edge Computing, AI/ML, Cloud, IoT
