Job Description

Act as aesthetic product expert for advanced hands on training on Merz NA injection and device aesthetic portfolio. Provide on- and off- label advanced injection and device training upon request of HCPs and internal customers. The activities of the Medical Affairs Clinical (MAC) are to develop and implement strategies that: Optimally provide thought leader/academic institutions and other key health care provider/organizations timely and up to date clinical training on Merz North America aesthetic products; Increase health care providers knowledge, competence and confidence as it relates to the management of aesthetic product-related treatments and uses. Work collaboratively with Medical Affairs colleagues to provide support with congress management and coverage, competitive intelligence, and portfolio scientific education.In This Role You WillProvide advanced hands on training of Merz injectable and device aesthetic portfolioProvide hands on advanced clinical instruction upon request from HCPs and internal stakeholders.Manage calendar of trainings in own region. Responsible for maintaining own schedule and have the ability work autonomously. Provide internal trainings per request to educate sales on on-label training techniques and portfolio education.Work with aesthetic HCPs and residency programs to build and maintain long-term relationships.Execute Medical Affairs initiatives and programs Collaborate with MSLs and/or Medical Affairs colleagues to provide scientific and clinical education through presentations and/or trainings including via lunches or dinnersAssist with projects and developing tools/projects for field use.Work collaboratively with Medical Affairs MSLs on profiling/planning for assigned medical meetings.Responsible for attending scientific congresses as assigned, summarizing sessions and relaying session notes to conference point within requested timeframeObserve and audit relevant sessions at medical meetings, follow up on educational opportunities (i.e. misinformation), and provide post meeting report on educational value and competitive intelligence.Travel and business hygieneMinimum 60% field travel, which may include weekends and overnights for trainings and/or attendance at congresses and internal meetings.Must have a solutions-oriented attitude and be adaptable to change.Responsible for 100% business hygiene, including but not limited to meeting deadlines, engaging in internal and external discussions/calls/meetings.Proactively engage in Medical Affairs activities/initiatives as determined by Medical Affairs leadership based on business objectives.The duties summarized above are not an exclusive list and it is at the company’s discretion that additional duties may be assigned, from time to time.RequirementsNursing degree or higher3+ years of aesthetics experience, including injectablesActive license, in good standing, in the province where they currently liveStrong procedural, technical, and anatomical competency of injection technique for facial aesthetic injectable procedures Ability to establish clinical credibility, overcome clinical objections with professional audiences, and articulate clinical information on Merz Aesthetic productStrong clinical knowledge in relevant aesthetic areasExcellent verbal and presentation skillsHigh level of competency with use of computer, mobile electronic devices, and salesforce systemsAdhere to corporate SOPs and ensure vigilant compliance with relevant legal and regulatory guidelines governing scientific and clinical interactions with HCPs across all activities, including those related to clinical and scientific interactions with internal and external groups, and responses to unsolicited medical/scientific information.Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and regulatory guidelines governing commercial and scientific interactions with healthcare professionals and other business partners.Maintain strict adherence to company compliance policies and government regulations. Foster the highest levels of personal and corporate integrity. Should have working knowledge of PhRMA and AdvaMed Code and Rx and D regulations regarding marketing of prescription drugs and medical devices.
