At the University of Manitoba, what inspires you can change everything.The opportunity: The Translating Research in Elder Care (TREC) Manitoba team is currently seeking to fill the role of Quality Advisor (QA) to lead aspects of a quality improvement (QI) intervention (known as SCOPE). The successful applicant will be responsible for the delivery of the QI component of SCOPE by working directly with on-site personal care home QI teams to mentor, educate, and support them in using the IHI Collaborative Series Breakthrough Model to make improvements within their PCH units (i.e. leveraging plan-do-study-act (PDSA) cycles for iterative learning and scaling up improvements). The QA will work with the research team to develop key content (e.g. QI/Clinical Change Guides, workshop agendas and activities), deliver said content (e.g. Learning Congress presentations), and facilitate intervention evaluation as needed. Applicants with a professional healthcare designation (e.g. Nursing), and/or a relevant academic degree are welcome to apply.
