Your Opportunity:As the rural plumber, you will be servicing Crowsnest Pass, Pincher Creek, Cardston, Fort Macleod, Raymond and Coaldale Healthcare Centres, working closely with the local site maintenance workers. Your base will be at CRH (Chinook Regional Hospital, Lethbridge), but other centralized sites may be considered. You may also need to provide support to CRH at times. A strong background in building operations is an asset and preference will be given to plumbers with a building operators ticket (PE5, PE4, PE3). As the position requires extensive travel between the 6 sites, time management and ability to multi-task will be important skills to possess. Knowledge of building management systems required. CMMS (computerized maintenance management systems) experience an asset. Reviewing, and/or creating preventative maintenance schedules, reviewing and updating system blueprints and assisting with the creation of SOP's (standard operating procedures) will also be required. In order to assure business continuance, you may required to work overtime in accordance with the AUPE GSS contract.Description:As a Plumber, you will plan, install and service plumbing systems, fixtures, piping equipment and controls used to transport water, waste, gas and air.
